The Tempest (William Shakespear) - September 2017


Rehearsals for The Tempest began in summer 2017 and performances ran September 14-17 and 21-24, 2017 at the East Lansing Hannah Community Center’s Albert A. White auditorium. The production was directed by Mike Stewart, who also designed the lights, sets, and props, with costumes and assistant directorship provided by Helen Hart and Holly Engler working on props. The cast included Steve Ledyard, Chanae Houska, Sarah Smite (nee Houck), Ann Marie Foley, Mark Polzin, Iszy Correia, Dale Wayne Williams, Kris Vitols, Jackie Payne, Iris Paul, Logan Kilpelä, Leo Poroshin, Samantha Stanton, Suzanne MacLaren, Holly Engler, and Tim Lewis. This production featured a unique take on the setting and time-period by playing with music and motifs from 1950s organized crime families.



Twelfth Night (William Shakespeare) - March 2018


Rehearsals for Twelfth Nigh (or What You Will) began in early 2018 and performances ran March 15-17 and 22-24, 2018 at the East Lansing Hannah Community Center’s Albert A. White auditorium. The production was directed by Mike Stewart, who also designed the lights and set.  Prop master was Holly Engler. The cast included Ann Marie Foley, Logan Kilpelä, Kris Vitols, Charles Hoogstraten, Holly Engler, Stever Ledyard, Dale Wayne Williams, Erica Beck, Kameron Going, Iris Raine Paul, Tim Lewis, and Mark Polzin. The stage manager was Marcus Fields. This production featured a non-specific contemporary setting.





Tragical Mirth: a Shakespeare Menagerie - May 2018


Tragical Mirth was a collection of scenes from several Shakespeare shows (A Midsummer Night's Dream, King Henry IV Part 1, Cymbeline, and Much ado About Nothing) woven together into a cohesive whole by Iris Raine Paul who also directed and choreographed. The purpose of the show was to demonstrate the ways in which tragedy and comedy interplay and support one another in Shakespeare's work. Rehearsals began in April 2018 and the show was performed at the East Lansing Art Festival on May 20-21, 2018 in downtown East Lansing. Set pieces and costumes were provided by Ann Marie Foley and Iris Raine Paul. Music direction was by Kameron Going.  Cast included Steve Ledyard, Erica Beck, Ndegwa McCloud, Dale Wayne Williams, Kris Vitols, Kameron Going, and Ann Marie Foley.





King Lear (William Shakespeare) - September 2018


Rehearsals for King Lear began in summer 2018 and performances ran September 13-16 and 20-23, 2018 at the East Lansing Hannah Community Center’s Albert A. White auditorium. The production was directed by Dale Wayne Williams, who also designed sound and set, and assistant directed by Iris Paul with Marcus Fields as the stage manager, assisted by Blake Weil. Holly Engler designed and organized props, Erica Beck was the costume lead, and Mike Stewart designed the lighting. Alexis Black and Brian de Vries were fight choreographers. The cast included Mike Stewart, Sarah Smith, Steve Ledyard, Mark Polzin, Iris Paul, Mia Colony, Holly Engler, Chanae Houska, Ann Marie Foley, Kris Vitols, Lynn Vollbrecht, Joe Gusumano, Rebekah Small, Logan Kilpelä, Joe Shanahan, and Blake Weil. This production was set in the originally intended time and place of Iron Age Britain around the 8th century BCE.
